Technology Platforms

Retreat Lobby

Each registrant will receive a password protected URL that will take them to a simple sign-in page (documentation for CAE credits). Then participants will enter the Retreat Lobby where they can enter all retreat activities on different platforms. The Lobby will act as a central focal point where participants can easily return to access a different retreat event or activity.

Open Circle

Each day opens with a large group circle that is housed on Zoom. The enter, click on the “Open Circle” icon in the Retreat Lobby.

Marketplace

Advanced Miro collaborative white board technology underpins the program development process. Miro technology allows for all participants to simultaneously write their challenges and big questions on the board and to independently scan the board when identifying topics on which they want to engage. Miro is then used to design the program interactive program schedule. To enter the Program Center, click on the Program Center icon in the Retreat Lobby.

Reception/Small Circles/Informal Networking

The Gatherly platform is used to host the Opening Reception, the self-directed Small Circles, and provides mingling opportunities throughout the Retreat. At any time, participants can chat with colleagues informally and even “lock the door” for private conversations. To access the events on the Gatherly platform, click on the Gatherly icon in the Retreat Lobby.  There is a 14 person limit per Small Circle and other small groups in Gatherly. There are four virtual floors in Gatherly, reachable by elevator.
